March Newsletter - Spring is around the corner...

Posted by Cheryl Bage on

Or so they're saying! We are getting more snow this weekend, here in SW Ontario, but the temps are looking like they're heading in the right direction.

I'm excited for the warm weather because I'm thrilled to be participating in a number of shows this year! The first one coming soon in May!
I wanted to give you all a heads up to where I'll be and when. You can check out all the shows here.

Changes are coming to the shop!

I started making bags back in 2014 and by the end of my first year I had found my style. I love the beautiful linen cotton fabrics from Lithuania that have become a bit of a signature item in my shop. In recent weeks they have become increasingly difficult to acquire. My 2 regular suppliers have either closed shop or discontinued the fabrics because of high costs from the mill. That being said, I have restocked what prints I could but as they run out, that will be the end.
So, this means that I've had to shift gears for the shop. My goal is to bring fun new cotton prints to the shop on a regular basis with a focus on prints from indie designers.

If you have a few minutes, check out the Fibre Friends Podcast where Louise and I chat about our knitting and monthly challenges. I've included a link down below.

Until next time, I hope you are all well and safe.

New Project Totes!

These new project totes are sure to please!
It's large size is perfect for those big projects, or use as an everyday tote. It features an accent zippered pocket on the front with an additional slip pocket in behind. It also has the option of a drawstring closure or an open tote design without. I've stocked a large number of different colours of canvas and will be adding new bags over the coming weeks. Head over to the website for more details!
